The Society for Sailing Barge Research Bargeman’s Award is intended to encourage and recognise the achievements of newcomers who get involved in sailing barges. It is awarded annually to someone who has recently shown the dedication, enthusiasm and ability to play a part in sustaining the sailing barge fleet.
